It has been a long day and so I don't have much energy to type right now. I'm going to leave with a couple of pics of each tag individually. Wishing you all a great week!! -- Mary Elizabeth

12 Tags of 2015 -- July
Well, I'm here with, not just one, but two tags for my take on Tim Holtz's July 2015 tag. Such a cool technique using Distress Micro-Glaze and water color paper. I won't go into details here since Tim did such a fantastic tutorial on his blog; however, as I was making my first tag, I realized how amazingly versatile this technique is. My first tag (made when I was thinking about the summer coming to an
end and going back to school) has a very vintage vibe to it. My second
tag is very vibrant with some of Tim's new Distress colors for 2015
(Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon, and Twisted Citron) for a very special
person's birthday card. Basically it's the same tag in composition,
but each has a completely different feel because of the
color choices.

Great tags Mary Elizabeth. Love the stamps and the colors you chose. As always you did a great job making it your own.
Wow, these are fabulous Mary Elizabeth!! I love the bright and cheery colours on the second one and the wonderful vintage feel to the first one! Great takes on Tim's version. hugs :)
Gorgeous tags and so unique! LOVE the school theme, and the other is so super fun and colorful! So enjoyable to visit!
Extra-ordinary interpretation of Tim's tag! Wonderful and original! Barbarayaya
Amazing how the different colours result in such varying vibes from each - both look brilliant Mary Elizabeth! Hope you are doing well. Nicola x
Oh, yes! I love them both. The vintage schoolroom version is so gentle and nostalgic, and the vibrant one makes those zingy new colours sing! Fabulous work on both tags - love, love them!

Last but not least! Mary Elizabeth, I have enjoyed my hour and a half I have spent looking at and reading your lovely blog this morning. Almost 3 cups of coffee later, I find myself here. I have to gasp in amazement, because you and I made similar Tim tags this time, only you have gone another leap beyond with your back to school tag. I love the vintage colors you chose, that background, and those embellishments are just spot on! Very cool design! As for your birthday tag! Ha! Ha! Even though we used some of the same blueprints, mine does not hold a candle to your beautiful coloring!Your background alone is just amazing, but that dyed ribbon is gorgeous! Awesome work on the two of the most spectacular tags in Tim's line up this month! Hugs! Thank you for all the great inspiration this morning. I'm going to hit the follow button again, in case I've somehow missed that. I am just trying to catch up with everyone who has commented on my blog recently; so that is what brought me here. I'm just figuring out how that following thing works! Tee Hee! Internet dinosaur here!
Oh these two tags just blow me away! I love your take on Tim's tag and the soft and vibrant effects are gorgeous! Love these to bits!
